The Catena is a leather hiking shoe meant for the technical trails. The outsole is molded from polyurathane-for shock absorbtion, and our proprietary Neo Rubber compound-normally used for our rock climbing shoes. The sticky rubber offers the shoes “sure-footed” traction when your on rocky terrain. And coupled with its medium-deep lugs, the shoes will give great traction on wet dirt trails too.

The midsole is made of an injection molded, 3D nylon that protects the shoes from sharp rocks, that flexes properly and lasts a long time. So the shoes have a minimal “wear-in” time.

The upper is made from alpine grazing cows- known for their tough hides, by our German supplier. This make the Catena breathable while in use and long lasting.
