The Salvo is a mesh-nylon approach/hiking/climbing shoe that excels on technical outdoor terrain and still looks good in the city The outsole is made of our proprietary Neo Rubber Trek compound. (A close relative to our Neo Rubber Fuse climbing rubber compound.) Which means that when challenged with steep rock terrain, the Mounsai offers you sure-footed security. The shallow lug proﬁle allows you more rubber to rock surface contact on slabby rock. And the added climbing zone under the big toes gives you the necessary edging platform. Above the outsole the Mousai has a medium density EVA foam cushioning layer that absorbs the hardness of the trails and protects your feet. The midsole is 3D, injection molded Pebax. The ﬂex and density of its shape considers the need for the shoes to perform well on technical climbing terrain and medium length hiking trails.
